A vacuum was felt in India in the mid 90's for exotic leather production. Although India was heading towards greater world market share in leather products, it sincerely lagged behind in the production of up-market exotic leather products. Many decades of experience in agro-business (land based farming)gave the company an added advantage of the economics/knowledge of such land based industry with an eye on exclusive livestock farming in the future.With this in mind "ZANNONE" was founded; dealing exclusively in Genuine Ostrich Leather Products. Farming or trading in exotic livestock or its leather was then not allowed in India. The company had the foresight to visualize an immense scope for such livestock farming for its exotic leather and to produce articles made thereof in India when the opportunity came. Farming of such livestock was supposed to enable the company to have a vertical integration of the exotic leather business. With this in mind our production team accompanied by their supervising head traveled to Europe, America & Africa for intensive training in Ostrich farming and it's leather.Thus "ZANNONE" was founded in mid - 90's as a leather division of M/s.Darshanlal Rameshchand, dealing exclusively in Genuine Ostrich Leather Products. A couple of years later "ZANNONE" stared with its own manufacturing using Genuine Ostrich Leather for export & the domestic market. "ZANNONE" today boasts of being the market leader in Genuine Ostrich leather in India with a wide range of products, hand crafted by the best in the business.
